My work explores the fragile and layered nature of identity shaped by migration. Through mixed-media processes—drawing, painting, collage, and photography—I investigate how displacement, memory, and belonging leave visible and invisible traces on the self. Transparency, fragmentation, and reassembly are central to my practice, becoming visual metaphors for rupture and repair, vulnerability and resilience.

By integrating personal photographs with hand-drawn and symbolic forms, I create narratives where human figures, plants, and abstract motifs intertwine. Natural imagery, particularly flowers and plants, functions as a metaphor for growth, adaptation, and fragility, echoing the complexities of uprooted lives. Across projects such as Patched Identities and Borders & Belongs, I construct multi-layered works that reflect not only my own journey but also the broader human experience of negotiating belonging in a shifting world.
