Re-rooting

Re-rooting explores displacement, memory, and belonging through layered paper, collage, stitching, and material transformation. Extending beyond the picture surface, roots, flowers, and organic forms emerge from the works as metaphors for adaptation, resilience, and the search for connection across places and cultures.

Through processes of cutting, layering, stitching, and reconstruction, the series reflects on identity as something continuously shaped through movement, loss, growth, and renewal.
